Join grade one students from ISASC School on an exciting adventure to the Fire Station and Metro Museum as part of their "Who We Are" unit. The purpose of this visit was to explore how different communities work together through various roles and responsibilities.
Mr. Sean and the PHE team were delighted with the strong performances of students from EY1 to Grade 12 as they competed for their houses in field activities, a range of running events, and team sports. Mandela, Malala, Teresa and Socrates house members should all be proud of their efforts. Parents and staff members should be commended for their generous volunteer efforts and contributions to the spirit of the event by cheering on their houses.
As an IB World School, ISA Science City International School has always emphasised the importance of field trips in teaching and learning. These field trips not only allow students to experience nature first hand, but also help them to learn about the culture, history and customs of different regions. In the process, students need to collaborate with each other, play the team spirit, solve problems together and complete tasks. This experience not only improves their teamwork ability, but also helps them to better adapt to their future study and work.
Recently, EY4 students learnt about the Unit of Inquiry and language, so let's find out step by step how the teachers let the children learn through play and how they help them bridge to IB inquiry learning in Primary School! The first unit of inquiry saw the EY4 students grow in depth and understanding of who they are as part of the community circle to which they belong. How did they do this? What did they experience?
Thank you for joining us on Saturday December 9th, 2023, in ISA Science City for the annual ISA Festival. As we enjoy this mild winter, we reflect on how quickly time seems to have passed, and how rapidly the seasons have changed. This year the theme of the ISA festival was ‘New Horizons’. We used this opportunity to showcase the infinite possibilities of technology and the infinite opportunities that lie ahead in the future. Students and their families, teachers, guests from consulates, business chambers, enterprises and other industries gathered to enjoy a spectacular carnival atmosphere featuring demonstrations of technology, stage performances, charitable activities, and ‘flash mob’ dances.
ISA Charity Fund, in collaboration with ISA schools, organises a series of charity month activities every year to promote the concept and spirit of public welfare. The fund not only provides financial support but also actively participates in these activities, encouraging ISA students to engage in community service and promoting the power of charity.
