On June 13th, our Grade 11 students at ISA Science City reached a defining moment in their IBDP journey — the Theory of Knowledge (TOK) Exhibition. Our young thinkers took center stage, using three carefully chosen real-world objects to explore and present their independent investigations into self-selected knowledge prompts. What unfolded was a captivating celebration of intellectual curiosity, revealing extraordinary thinking about the nature of knowledge itself.
The Class of 2025 at ISA Science City has achieved outstanding results: 22 graduates received 155 offers from top universities worldwide, with total scholarships reaching $721,000. Highlights include Pomona College (Top 5 U.S. liberal arts, 7% admit rate), UCLA (No.1 U.S. public university), UC Berkeley (“Public Ivy” with 3.3% international admit rate), and Vanderbilt University (“Harvard of the South”), as well as the UK’s G5 institutions like UCL and LSE. Offers also came from Tsinghua and Peking University (China’s top 985s), Hong Kong’s top three universities, the University of Tokyo, and Yonsei University—showcasing ISASC’s world-class academic outcomes and global outlook.
Five years ago, ISASC planted a seed of education in Huangpu, Guangzhou; today, this seed has flourished throughout the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. In just five years, through the collective dedication of our entire faculty and staff, ISASC has achieved exceptional academic excellence, successfully obtaining full IB continuum accreditation: IB Primary Years Programme(PYP), IB Middle Years Programme(MYP), and also the IB Diploma Programme(DP). We have also earned membership in the Council of International Schools(CIS), the world’s top authority in international education, covering accreditation and evaluation. Additionally, ISASC was recognized among the 2023 Hurun Top 10 International Schools for Expatriate Children in China, becoming the only Guangzhou-based school to achieve this prestigious distinction.
