Early Years Field Trips

Our kindergarten field trips go beyond traditional classroom learning, embracing the IB philosophy's emphasis on hands-on, inquiry-based education. These excursions are carefully planned to spark curiosity, encourage exploration, and foster a deep understanding of the world around us. We are grateful to have dedicated parent volunteers who generously contribute their time and support to ensure the success and safety of these trips. Through our field trips, we aim to cultivate the attributes of the IB Learner Profile in our kindergarten students. As they embark on these immersive adventures, guided by our passionate educators and parent volunteers, they become more open-minded, developing an appreciation for different cultures, environments, and perspectives. By engaging in interactive activities and meaningful interactions during these trips, our students learn to be communicators, thinkers, and reflective individuals.

Through interactive field trips, students are encouraged to explore, discover, and create while making connections between classroom learning and the world around them. On 11 April, Grade 1 students went on a delicious and educational journey as they ventured on a field trip to Pizza Marzano. As part of their unit of inquiry, ‘How the World Works’, students explored the science behind pizza making while creating their unique and scrumptious pizza masterpieces.
