The final of the 2023 'ISA Cup' Public Speaking Competition, organised by the Collaborative Innovation Centre for the Education of International Understanding and ISA International Academy and co-organised by SPEAK & LEAD, was successfully held at ISA Liwan School on 3 June. For the third year in a row, ISA Science City International School organised its students to take part in the third International Chinese Language Festival 2022-2023, and the results were amazing: nearly 50 winners, including 15 first prizes(Champions), 16 second prizes (1st Runner Up), 5 third prizes (2nd Runner Up), 3 merit prizes (Award of Merit) and the 1st Runner Up in the group recitation.

This captivating outing provided our young learners with an immersive experience in nature, fostering their love for the environment and creating unforgettable memories. Under the warm sun, our students had the opportunity to delve into the beauty of the bamboo forest, immersing themselves in its lush greenery. As they hiked through the winding paths, they encountered a myriad of plants and insects, igniting their curiosity about the natural world around them.
We are thrilled to share with you the unforgettable Grade 7 field trip to Chimelong Paradise, where our students embarked on a thrilling adventure into the world of physical science. This remarkable outing offered our young scholars a real-life application of the concepts they had been learning in their science classes, igniting their passion for scientific discovery. The foundation of this extraordinary trip began with our students designing and conducting their own experiment focused on speed, distance, and time calculations. Guided by their knowledgeable teachers, they skillfully identified the correct variables and crafted scientifically sound experiments, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
The final of the 2023 'ISA Cup' Public Speaking Competition, organised by the Collaborative Innovation Centre for the Education of International Understanding and ISA International Academy and co-organised by SPEAK & LEAD, was successfully held at ISA Liwan School on 3 June. After nearly two months of auditions and semi-finals, 38 speakers from 10 different schools took to the stage for the finals.
It's been a week since the Graduation Ceremony and Dinner for the first graduating class of ISA Science City, and we are sure everyone who witnessed the day, whether it was the teachers, students or families of the graduates in attendance, is still overwhelmed with emotions even a week later. Three years ago, ISA Science City was officially launched, with the first year of classes from Kindergarten to Secondary Grade 10. The students who joined Grade 10 that year began their three-year high school career with aspirations for the future. For three years, they worked with the school to overcome the challenges of the epidemic, and were driven by their interests to excel in sports, arts and community service, setting an example for the whole school. Now, three years later, they were crowned and presented with their diplomas at the graduation ceremony in the presence of their most gracious teachers, families, special guests and the entire Secondary School community.
